The Recycle, Reuse, Donate Woodwork Program was established as an environmentally sustainable project that contributes to waste avoidance, while teaching offenders valuable new skills and creating an avenue for them to give back to the local community. more

Gannawarra Shire Council – Gannawarra Large Scale Solar

The Gannawarra Shire has taken a strategic approach to identifying future directions for the local economy around the platforms of nature based tourism, renewable energy and innovative agriculture. more


Eligible entries:

Policies, programs or initiatives with an environmental sustainability focus, implemented by:

– Local governments

– Victorian state government departments, agencies and authorities

– Federal government departments, agencies and authorities (who are Victorian based or where projects and initiatives are specifically undertaken in Victoria).


Entry requirements:

– Entry needs to comply with the eligibility requirements for the selected category, as per above

– The majority of demonstrable results must have occurred during the calendar year of 2017

– If started prior to 2017, major new initiatives or significant differences must have occurred during 2017

– The demonstrable activities and results associated with the entry must be within Victoria.
